One of the best ways we have found to earn the trust and respect of the people in these small
communities is to help their children. Our goal in
Purok Sais is to help fund a school and feeding program. We will start in July with 30 kids,
that's 15
in preK and15 in
kindergarden. Next year we will add 1st grade and keep adding grades until we have a complete school
pre-K through 6
th grade.
Most of these kids will never get any kind of formal education. They have very little money for food much less for books. This is a great
opportunity to reach this community with the Gospel and help educate the kids. The cost to educate and feed 30 kids is $750.00 per month. I just want to take this opportunity to thank Jay and Anna-lisa for helping me in our ministry in Purok 6. To God be the glory, since Jay and anna-lisa spend time with me in Purok 6, that place never been the same again. Actually, you can even hear some people saying here that everytime they saw Jay, they are seeing a bald Jesus...he he. Lots of miracle happens here, like, PSORIASIS was healed, cancerous TUMOR of a little girl was gone, A man named Wilfredo was almost dead in the ICU, now attending the small group, all the families of these people has now committed their lives to Jesus because of the healing power of God through His servants. Jay is also a hit with small children here, that they call him "TATAY" - father...wherever he goes here all the children were following him, some are even climbing on him, and clinging to his arms...he he,(don't tell him others, call him LOLO - "grandpa")lol...Now we have around 150 people regularly attending small groups and sunday service. Most of the members of the church right now were fruits of the healing ministry and the feeding programs, the HAP program also wants to extend their thanks to Jay and Anna-lisa for the school supplies we provided for the out-of-school-youth. Parents of the children in our feeding program say thank you for you and the Faith Center Church and to other people helping this ministry. Thanks also to Jayson for ministering to the little kids everytime he goes here in Purok 6.
